Who we are

Information you provide
We initially contact you by email. Providing a phone number does not give permission for phone contact; we record your separate, optional phone contact choice with your inquiry.
When you submit a project inquiry, we collect your name, optional phone number, email address, project type, project description and consent. You may also provide a city or neighbourhood, preferred start date and project photos. Please avoid uploading personal documents or unnecessary images of people.
Why we use it
We use your information to review your inquiry, contact you about the project, understand your needs and help identify a potential independent contractor connection. We do not require consent to unrelated marketing as a condition of submitting a project.
Contractor and builder inquiries
When you express interest in working with us, we collect your role, contact name, optional phone, email, service area, trades and collaboration details. You may also provide your company name and website. We use these details to contact you and discuss potential collaboration. Submitting does not automatically create a public listing or an agreement to provide work. The partnership form does not subscribe you to unrelated marketing.
Sharing with a potential contractor
With the consent given in the form, relevant contact and project details may be shared with a potential independent contractor so they can discuss the work, estimate and scheduling directly with you. Contractors are separate businesses and are responsible for their own handling of information and project agreements. Ask them about their privacy practices before sharing further details.
Storage and service providers
Project inquiries are stored in a database through our website hosting infrastructure. Uploaded photos are stored privately and are not published in the inspiration gallery. Website infrastructure is provided through OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare. Operational email correspondence uses the email services used by TradeLink Solutions and by you. Service providers may process data outside Canada.
Protecting the inquiry process
We use encrypted HTTPS connections, server-side validation, a limited-life secure form cookie, a hidden spam field and submission limits. For abuse prevention, a short-lived daily hash of the network address may be used in rate-limit records; it is not stored in your project inquiry. No online system can promise absolute security.
Retention and your choices
We keep inquiry information while needed to respond, help with the connection and manage related business records. Contact us to request access, correction, deletion or to withdraw your consent to further contact or sharing. We will discuss your request and any records we need to retain. Information already shared with an independent contractor is also subject to that contractor’s handling.
Cookies and analytics
The form uses a necessary, short-lived cookie to protect submissions. No advertising pixels or third-party analytics trackers are enabled by default on this website. If analytics or advertising tools are added, this policy and any necessary consent controls should be updated before they are enabled.
